This is an 8-digit calculator with percentage functions and memory. It has
separate fluorescent tubes for all eight digits. Above the display there are four leds. One
to indicate overflow, one to indicate memory, one to indicate low battery and one to indicate negative
numbers.
The slider on the left enables memory calculations, where all results are added to the calculator’s memory when pressing the = key. Read out the grand total using MR, clear the memory using the MC key. Subtracting works counterintuitive. To subtract 8 from 50 for example use the following sequence: 5 0 + 8 −. Another example, to add 8 to -50 use the following sequence: 5 0 − 8 +. The four basic functions are repeated. Divisions and multiplications are repeated by repeatedly pressing the = key whilst additions and subtractions are repeated by repeatedly pressing + or −. Very similar in design to the MBO micro ALGEBRA EC-8413 and the realtone micro EXECUTIVE Model 8414. The battery compartment is made in such a way that it can be removed after sliding a lever. After changing the batteries, click it back into place. |
