The German brand SERD has a series of calculators named to German
towns. This one is called Kiel. "Kiel lies around 100km south
of the Danish border, directly on the Baltic Sea and the 17km long
Kiel Firth" according to a German tourist info site (link lost
2002-10-27). Kiel has a homepage (link validated 2024-01-13) as well. Other
ones in the series are named after Aachen, Berlin, Bremen,
Hannover, Köln and München.
