CASIO PB-200

Description

Brand: CASIO
Model: PB-200
Type: BASIC-programmable Pocket Computer
Picture: CASIO PB-200
Batteries: CR 2032 x 2
Lifetime: Introduced: 1983
Terminated: unknown
Notes: Functionally identical to the CASIO PB-100 but with the 1 kB OR-1 RAM pack already built-in. Not physically as a RAM pack but by adding more memory to the motherboard itself.

In fact, when you open the case you will notice a non-removable plastic insert at the position of the CASIO PB-100’s RAM pack slot. Officially non-removable that is. When you do manage to get it out you can actually see the contacts for a RAM pack on the motherboard. No idea what would happen if one does manage to insert an extra RAM pack.

Note that there is a slight yellow colour hue on this Pocket Computer’s scan. At first I assumed that this was due to the original plastic protective foil still being present but since my CASIO PB-100 is also displaying the same hue I'm assuming it is discoloration due to aging.
