Notes:	Improved version of the CASIO fx-8700G. All the user manuals I could find online are in Spanish. Therefore it is not clear to me what the specific improvements are except for the larger memory of 16000 steps and the PROGRAM-LINK connectivity option. It also seems to be larger than its predecessor.

Peripherals

This calculator can be hooked up to a computer using a model-specific PC-link serial cable and the FA-123 or FA-124 software packages. The FA-123 package requires Windows 3.1, 95 or 98 and is also compatible with 68030 Macintoshes running System 7 (or better). I guess "or better" should not be taken literally today of course. FA-124 runs on Windows XP and up to Windows 8.1 according to its manual.

This PC-link cable was available from CASIO, but there are also third-party versions around on the net. The schematics for the link cable can be found on the net as well. I’ve cached two versions (version 1 and version 2) that are technically practically identical.
