The CASIO FL-2 is a rather big desktop calculator with a big
slanted 12 segment display. It has the basic functions, memory,
square roots plus some extras focussed on financials. Numbers
entered can be corrected during input by means of a backspace key.
I’m not at home with some of its functions, I can’t explain the function of the percentage key with the little triangle in front of it. I’m not sure what the GT key does either. The IR key seems to remember the number of calculations since the last all clear ( AC). This can be used to calculate means. For instance, the mean of [1, 2, 6, 5, 7] can be calculated by pressing AC 1 += 2 += 6 += 5 += 7 += ÷ IR +=. |
