The CASIO FL-2 is a rather big desktop calculator with a big
slanted 12 segment display. It has the basic functions, memory,
square roots plus some extras focussed on financials. Numbers
entered can be corrected during input by means of a backspace key.
I'm not at home with some of its functions, I can't explain the function of the percentage key with the little triangle in front of it. I'm not sure what the "GT" does either. The "IR"-key seems to remember the number of calculations since the last all clear ("AC"). This can be used to calculate means. For instance, the mean of [1, 2, 6, 5, 7] can be calculated by pressing "AC", "1", "+=", "2", "+=","6", "+=","5", "+=","7", "+=", "/", "IR", "+=". |
