Small CASIO data bank for telephone numbers and currency
conversion and a calculator. It has 1600 bytes of memory. It
has a two-line display, one line for numeric information and one
line for alphanumeric info.
The REDIAL key shows the last item browsed. Almost identical to the CASIO DC-2000 but with a less colourful keyboard, and the Euro symbol for the currency converter. Memory is retained when you’re quick enough in replacing the battery. This however is extremely tricky because firstly the case is nail-breaking hard to open and secondly the battery is held by the back, so when the back is removed the battery is also removed. If you don’t know this you will probably loose all your phone numbers the first time you replace the battery. But of course you do now this because you’ve read the manual, didn’t you? Thanks, Paula Klingers, for donating this to the museum. |
