It is not very widely known, but CASIO made some very nice
calculators with built-in games and sound features. This one is a
plain calculator with a clock and a boxing game. The user plays
against the calculator until the "stamina" of one has reached zero
and is knocked out.
These game calculators which predate the pocket game generation must have been very popular at school and in most of them (including this one), the sound crystal is either abused or simply unwired to make the game silent and thus playable in class. |
