Quite heavy for a handheld calculator, due to it having 5 AA batteries and a metal case that can be slid open to change the batteries. It has a sturdy feel. You can hear the springs under the keys when you use the calculator.
The display bezel is purple but the display underneath is a normal red LED display. There is a small indicator to the top left of the segments to indicate a non-zero memory value.
